Hello, my name is Elizabeth Ekema. I am 25 years old and hungry for art. I have always been drawn to creating artworks whether drawing, working with clay, photography, etc. I have a huge passion for it. I was drawing before I could even remember picking up a crayon. My grandmother always asked me if I’d become a fashion designer because I enjoyed drawing clothes on stick figures that turned into very crudely drawn figures of people I saw on the street. 

After pursuing a career in teaching and returning to school in the fall of 2023, I was encouraged to take up illustration and learn techniques that would improve my work. Since then, I have focused on Animation and Game Art, wanting to pursue a career in Character design. I enjoy the fantasy of creating characters and developing them further to make them compelling people, whether a teenager who is fighting dragons or an elderly elf who’s watching their life pass them by.
